White Wolf Café to Offer Special Valentine's Menu Feb. 12th & 13th

White Wolf Café will be offering a special Valentine's menu on Feb. 12th and 13th to help celebrate everyone's favorite romantic weekend. The restaurant will also feature enhanced mimosas starting at $15 per glass with higher quality Luce Champagne. For cocktail lovers, the café now also features a special "Wolf Shot" in an official White Wolf glass. Composed of Frangelica Bushmills Whisky, Irish Cream and Kahlúa, the "Wolf Shot" runs $14 per person and drinkers will be able to take the glass home.

Both the name of the shot and the restaurant honor founder Michael Hennessy's late white German Shepherd, a common fixture in the early years of the White Wolf when the café functioned more as an antique shop than a restaurant. By the mid 1990s Hennessy's wife Ann Marie joined the enterprise, and the establishment began selling snacks like sandwiches and ice cream, spurring demand for more.

Today, the White Wolf remains an Orlando icon, boasting of a full liquor bar, a wide array of savory menu items for breakfest, lunch and dinner, all while maintaining the café's antique ambience.

The café will be closed the evening of the holiday itself, although owner Hennessy told the Local News she hopes to host the annual tradition again next year on Feb. 14.

White Wolf Café is located at 1829 N Orange Avenue in Orlando near Ivanhoe. For reservations or pick up call (407) 895-9911.
