Orlando Trump Ally Drops New Book On 2016 and 2020

Leland McKee, Florida's most dynamic Trump photographer, recently authored a book titled "An American President: America First" related to his campaign exploits. The Central Florida resident spent much of his time over the last five years shadowing Trump throughout Florida at Mar-a-Lago as well as rallies in state and out-of-state. Trump's campaign often used many of McKee's photos during both election seasons.

While McKee (pictured far right) tells of his background and the saga of the campaigns in the first few pages of the book, he allows his pictures to illustrate the rest of the story. In a conversation with McKee about the book, he explained his excitement when the former President himself reviewed the book: "I was visiting Mar-a-Lago with a few friends and talking with North Carolina's newest Congressman, Madison Cawthorn, when President Trump appeared out of nowhere. It has to be the first time a Congressman has taken my picture with a President.

If that weren't enough already, the President praised my book and took a copy. As thrilled as I was to share it with him, I'm just as pleased to share it with the public." Although the book remains geared toward Republicans, McKee explained that the catalogue of photos also serves as an excellent historical resource for students of politics and history buffs. While his future remains uncertain, Trump's new presence in Florida will ultimately signal the construction of  a Presidential Library, with some speculating Orlando as a possible location.
